a cello's approach of a few familiar tunes

one passion of mine is classical music. i played clarinet and bass clarinet and studied classical for 8 years. i have never pursued it as a profession because, frankly, i didn't know such a profession existed until coming to dallas. then it was too late because for me because i lost my front teeth and trying to play clarinet with partials is not quite the same and down right embarrassing. 2cellos are some awesome music and have approached pop, rock and alternative music with that of an instrument most familiar when listening to classical. give them a listen or just tune in here ( mf-m.com ) and you'll eventually hear them in the shuffle of my playlist. a few of the songs from their brand new cd are "without or without you", "welcome to the jungle", "smooth criminal" and "misirlou".
