i have been hearing this quirky song on a tv commercial but i had no idea who was the singer. it's one of those songs you hear that sounds like it was recorded by a legend, maybe back in the 40's or 50's and the pairing of it with a product gives it that mysterious nostalgia of old meets new. i had no idea whom the singer was but her voice sounded like it could be ertha kitt. today i heard that same song but it was playing longer than 5 seconds, this time, which gave me enough time to activate my shazam app. the song is "history repeating" by shirley bassey and propellerheads. i went to buy the single and saw this album cover. since i enjoy photography i had post it along with my blog of songs i have added to my playlist. two great discoveries within one. i like it when that happens.
